TOYS WIN THE HEARTS OF YOUNG AND OLD January 7, 2019 22:47
PADUKAS expands into making cloth toys and finds an immediate market. Over the Christmas holidays, Padukas attended a Christmas Bazaar at Baro Furniture Store in Lower Parel, Mumbai. We were advised to bring lots of small gift items. So our Padukas seamstresses worked over time to create a series of Yo Yo Dolls for the event. We were thrilled that our dolls were so well received and almost all of our stock was sold out during the two day event.
And one of the other merchants liked our toys and gave us an order for 100 toys to be delivered as soon as possible.
We think Padukas might be onto something big! This clown was modeled after one that Jeanetta had as a little girl and brought with her from the US. She never thought that it would be so desirable in India.
The other toys were an elephant, a cat, and a peacock. You can purchase them from this website on the "Small Gift Collection".
Expanding into the Future: A New Workshop Space December 1, 2018 18:45
This new Padukas home is a brand new house that will have when completed: beautiful marble tile floors, freshly plastered walls, drop ceiling to keep out summer heat, room for storage, lots of fans, its own office, (complete with desk, computer and printer), and a place to meet with our guest designers and visitors!

The Ever Popular Shopping Basket June 18, 2018 09:25
How do you make something good even better? Our large and medium shopping basket has been our best seller for the past year. We cannot keep them in stock. And why not? The fantastic colors to brighten up a day! Sturdy and able to hold and transport groceries from farmers market to home. Looks gorgeous sitting in your home storing all kinds of beloved "stuff".
So what did we do? We made the handle a little more upscale. Instead of the little round circles holding the handle in place, we figured out how to design the handle into one piece, giving a much more finished product.
We think you will like it! Tell us what you think!
